- Information: Zero-assigned position. Mix of day and evening hours available. Instructors sign up for a minimum of 8 sessions per quarter. Pay Range $26.55 - $39.85
- Major
- Responsibilities: Supports the organization's mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives. Maintains Emergency Medical Services or advanced practice licensure, certifications, continuing education and professional development and stays current in field. Utilizes adult learning principles to plan, develop and facilitate Emergency Medical Services education where applicable. Provides instruction through a variety of delivery methods including on-site training for external customers, online or hybrid/blended, and interactive distance learning where applicable. Works collaboratively with EMS Lead Instructor and Emergency Medical Services Community Educator to evaluate, update and revise program offerings. Participates in collection of quality improvement data and statistics and completes reports as needed. Collects and submits attendance records to the Emergency Medical Services coordinator Community Educator or designee. Submits availability to provide instruction for a minimum of 8 (eight) classes per quarter. Must be available for the minimum number of sessions per quarter as directed.

- Required: Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) license issued by the state of Wisconsin, or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Intermediate license issued by the state of Wisconsin, or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Paramedic license issued by the state of Wisconsin or the state in which the team member practices, or Current Advanced Practice Provider (RN, PA, etc.) license issued by the state of Wisconsin, or the state in which the team member practices and eligible for reciprocity within 6 months of hire. Proficient computer skills, use of electronic mail and experience with software to prepare and present documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc. Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates human relation skills with the ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with a variety of team members, emergency medical services providers and physicians. Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with others. Excellent organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates time management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in an environment with frequent interruptions. Demonstrates coordination, collaboration, delegation and team building skills. Experience with or willingness to learn the following supportive technologies: online learning management system, high-fidelity simulation, multi-media based, and emerging technologies.
