PFT - Peer Support Worker, St Clair College

Peer support workers provide emotional and practical support to individuals experiencing mental health concerns, fostering trusting relationships based on shared experience. They also assist individuals in navigating mental health services and engage in community outreach activities.

Candidates must have a minimum of a two-Year post-Secondary education in a relevant field and personal lived experience with mental health or addictions. Successful completion of peer support training and applied suicide intervention skills training (Asist) is required upon hire.
