Occupational Therapist - Durham and York region

The occupational therapist is responsible for developing programs that allow individuals, including children with autism spectrum disorder (Asd) and others, to fully participate in daily life activities. Key duties involve assessing client needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, consulting on aba programs, and maintaining knowledge of current evidence-Based practices.

Successful candidates must possess at least one year of experience working with children with asd and hold a master’s degree in occupational therapy. Applicants also need familiarity with various assessment tools, membership or eligibility for caot, strong interpersonal skills, and must have a driver's license and access to a vehicle for required travel.
