• About the role HealthFitness is seeking a dynamic Mixed Martial Arts Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site in Mississauga, Ontario.
• This is an on-call/substitute opportunity, ideal for an instructor who enjoys flexibility and stepping in to energize classes as needed.
• Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe Mixed Martial Arts instruction to members.
• Minimum Requirements Current group exercise instructor certification from CanfitPro, ACE, YMCA, or Ontario Fitness Council required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• Martial arts certification or belt ranking appropriate to the style being taught (e.g., Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing).
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Experience teaching martial arts or fitness-based martial arts classes.
• Ability to instruct participants of different ages, fitness levels, and skill levels.
• Knowledge of martial arts techniques, forms, and safety considerations.

Compensation

$40 - $75/class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
