HealthFitness is seeking a dynamic Mixed Martial Arts Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site in Mississauga, Ontario.
This is an on-call/substitute opportunity, ideal for an instructor who enjoys flexibility and stepping in to energize classes as needed.
Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe Mixed Martial Arts instruction to members.
Minimum Requirements
Current group exercise instructor certification from CanfitPro, ACE, YMCA, or Ontario Fitness Council required.
Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
Martial arts certification or belt ranking appropriate to the style being taught (e.g., Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing).
2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
Experience teaching martial arts or fitness-based martial arts classes.
Ability to instruct participants of different ages, fitness levels, and skill levels.
Knowledge of martial arts techniques, forms, and safety considerations.
$40 - $75/class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
