The deputy manager is responsible for leading the nursery with integrity, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and operational excellence across all practices. This role involves championing collaboration with families and colleagues while driving continuous improvement aligned with the nursery's mission and vision.
Candidates must possess excellent knowledge of 'birth to 5 matters', typical child development stages, and the eyfs, holding a full and relevant level 3 or above early years qualification. Essential requirements include achieving a minimum grade 4 or c in maths and english gcses and demonstrating proficiency in implementing key person, safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality systems.
