The youth support worker will assist children and youth in developing life skills, social skills, and accessing community resources while providing individual care and guidance. Key duties include increasing awareness of issues among first nations youth, assisting in organizing community committees, and facilitating grief workshops.
Candidates must be compassionate, non-Judgmental role models familiar with woodland cree culture, possessing strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and work independently with flexible hours. Qualifications require grade 12 or equivalent experience, group facilitation skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to pass a criminal record check and possess a valid driver's license.
