The primary duties involve assisting with the care of children under supervision, which includes distributing meals and snacks, performing clean-Up duties, and managing the child care centre's laundry responsibilities. The worker must also ensure that all established health and safety procedures are strictly followed.
Candidates must possess a grade 12 education or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people and understand children's needs. Essential conditions of employment include maintaining first aid, safe food handling (Level 1), and up-To-Date immunization records, plus passing a police vulnerable sector check.
