Provide inquiry based, problem solving based and project based learning opportunities.

Utilize academic programs including Reading Mastery, ReadWell, Corrective Reading, Nelson Literacy and Saxon Math.

Prepare and deliver long term, monthly and daily lesson plan activities.

Develop and oversee individual learning plans for each student as required.

Ensure that students’ overall needs for achieving success are met.

Collaborate with Education Assistants and Cultural Workers regularly and as required.

Enforce the school discipline policy.

Participate as a member of the school supervisory and extra-curricular teams.

Provide written student evaluation reports and attend parent-teacher conferences.

Ensure that accurate and complete student records are maintained.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents
