Elementary Teacher

• Provide inquiry based, problem solving based and project based learning opportunities.
• Utilize academic programs including reading mastery, readwell, corrective reading, nelson literacy and saxon math.
• Prepare and deliver long term, monthly and daily lesson plan activities.
• Develop and oversee individual learning plans for each student as required.
• Ensure that students’ overall needs for achieving success are met.
• Collaborate with education assistants and cultural workers regularly and as required.
• Enforce the school discipline policy.
• Participate as a member of the school supervisory and extra-Curricular teams.
• Provide written student evaluation reports and attend parent-Teacher conferences.
• Ensure that accurate and complete student records are maintained.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents
