Our K-12 school is a fully BC accredited First Nations school with around 200 students. </span></p> <p><span>Sts'ailes Community School inspires and empowers students to explore their cultural, academic and social-emotional world and to strive for their personal best while becoming happy, respectful, responsible and confident community leaders.</span></p> <p><span> </span></p> <p><span><strong>Requirements:</strong></span></p> <p><span>- Hold a valid BC Ministry of Education Trades Certificate OR Professional Certificate.</span></p><p><span>- Have a Red Seal or Certificate of Qualification in mechanics, that is recognized by the ITA</span></p> <p><span>- Have a valid BC driver's license and own transportation.</span></p> <p><span>- Experience teaching in a middle or secondary school.</span></p> <p><span><strong> </strong></span></p> <p><span><strong>Assets:</strong></span></p> <p><span>- Previous Secondary school instructional experience.</span></p><p><span>- Experience using a restitution-based approach to classroom management and discipline.</span></p> <p><span>- Professional development and experience in Trauma-Informed Care.</span></p> <p><span>- Experience working in or with a First Nations community or in Indigenous education.</span></p> <p><strong> </strong><br></br></p> <p><span><strong>How to apply:</strong></span></p> <p><span>Sts'ailes Community School only accepts digital/online applications.</span></p> <p><span>Please ensure all your supporting documents, including your 2 most recent teaching evaluations, are uploaded in your profile before submitting your application.</span></p>
